The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has clarified its stance regarding the nationwide ban on sachet alcohol. The Director of the FCT Directorate of the agency, Kenneth Azikiwe, in Abuja on Monday, said the temporary lifting of the ban was only valid until Dec. 31, 2025. He emphasised that the recent ministerial lifting of the ban was not permanent and urged the public to disregard misinformation suggesting that the government had permanently lifted the restriction. “There is a ministerial lifting on the ban of sachet alcohol, but it is only temporary and will be reviewed by Dec. 31, 2025. Edo dep gov denies cultism allegation

Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, on Friday debunked the claim that he is a member of a secret cult group. Reacting to a viral video by one Emmanuel Agbogun, who accused Idahosa and other prominent citizens of the state of belonging to cult groups, the deputy governor said the accusation was spurious, defamatory and malicious. While noting that he would take the matter to court, Agbogun said the content in the video was a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation and undermine his unwavering dedication to public service.  In a statement he personally signed, the deputy governor said, “These allegations also seek to distract this administration’s ongoing efforts to combat cultism and restore peace and order in Edo State. The claim that I am affiliated with any secret cult group is entirely false and baseless. I vehemently deny any involvement, both past or present in cult-related activities.  “As a public servant and the current Deputy Governor of Edo State, I...

University Is a Scam – LASU Student Cries After Getting ‘F’ Despite Studying A Biochemistry student of Lagos State University (LASU) broke down in tears after receiving an ‘F’ in one of her courses, despite claiming to have studied extensively for the exam. She described her university experience as a scam and warned others not to pursue higher education. The emotional moment was shared in a video posted on her TikTok page. In the video, the student is seen crying as she vents her frustration over what she calls an unfair academic system. She said she studied hard and did her best in the exam, yet still failed—despite assurances from her lecturer that students wouldn’t be failed deliberately. Part of her statement reads: “LASU, thank you for ruining my life. Why do people fail? You actually read everything and still fail. Then the lecturer says, ‘I don’t want you guys to fail, we’re also parents.’ But you go ahead and fail someone else’s child. Do you find joy in that? Are you guy...
