 President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja late Saturday after official visits to Saint Lucia and Brazil.His aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 1:30 a.m. (Sunday).


‎He was received by top government officials, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, and Minister of State Defence, Bello Matawalle.

‎‎Others at the airport included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Ibrahim Masari, and Aliyu Wamakko.

‎Mr ‎Tinubu departed Abuja on June 28 for diplomatic engagements in the Caribbean and South America.

‎‎His first stop was Saint Lucia, aimed at strengthening ties with Caribbean nations and enhancing South-South cooperation.

‎From Saint Lucia, Mr Tinubu proceeded to Brazil to attend the 2025 BRICS Summit, held July 6-7.

‎On the sidelines, he held bilateral talks with Brazilian President Lula da Silva.

‎‎Their discussions centred on expanding trade, financing infrastructure, and fostering deeper cultural collaboration
