The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the former governor had requested the release of his travel document so that he could travel to the United Kingdom for medical treatment. Bello's counsel, Joseph Daudu, SAN, argued that the applicant was a known hypertensive patient for approximately 15 years.
